January 365+1

These are some of my 365+1 Project pictures for January. Developing new habits is hard so I didn't do as good a job as I wanted in taking a picture every day. I plan to do better in February!

12 - My daughter's 12th birthday cake. She had an "Alice in Wonderland" theme and we all had to wear hats, drink tea and eat tiny sandwiches. It was a great day!

A Fresh Perspective - I love looking at this picture and remembering that whatever path you choose, it's there for you to take. You just have to take the first step!

With a wide aperture - I just liked the perspective of the tiny weed in focus with the beautiful fall colors blurred in the background.

Brisk - Middle school basketball. Fun!!

Inspired by - This picture was photoshopped by a good friend and I really loved the way it turned out! Kind of reminded me of a fairy tale!

With a who cares aperture - Trying to take a picture of the moon. Thought it was really interesting how the street light illuminated the end of the street. the moon is barely visible above and to the right of the light.

Black and white - I had a lot to choose from here...I really like black and white photos so there will probably be a lot of them in this project! I just liked the chaos of all the branches and the contrast with the sky in the background.
